Lovie Discovers Snow

Yesterday we had the first snow fall and it didn't go well for Lovie.  A little shivering and a lot of effort to get a sniff and then nothing.  But last night and this morning she loved it.  My front lawn looks like an army marched helter skelter on it.  She even did a little snouting!!!  The back yard was crusty and not so much fun, but she was productive.  A milestone for my little sweet doxie.

The Journey is the Reward - Remember this.

I know it is the making of the plan and the perserverance to see it through.

Today, I started to get back on track.  Not so bad, feeling a little better after the worst of the cold.

My car is coming!  I am so excited.  It is white with a beautiful cornsilk interior - I really believe that I should be a blonde!    I want to go by myself to pick it up.  It is really part of my need for independence right now.  Plus, I think it will be easier for me to say good bye to the Buick.  I think that Bob is right, let it go to Joe.

Lovie is being wicked tonight -  first she took my socks right off of me and now she is trying to chew on my feet.

So, my mystery is going to be set in Montauk in the winter.  Have to find Sue Grafton's book.
